With 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, Matt began his career working for Back Bay Restaurant Group where he faced the trials of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. During his professional career and numerous restaurant openings Matt gained integral experience in project management, strategy, finance and restaurant operations. Matt’s expertise in project management presented him with a unique opportunity to work abroad, in Cork City, Ireland. After developing and implementing food and beverage operations for a 17,000sq ft. restaurant and an additional boutique hotel. Matt then became Director of Operations for Dining In Inc., where he oversaw operations in Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, and Denver. Matt was able to streamline Dining In’s development and implementation processes for multi-unit system controls, ultimately resulting in the largest growth in sales in the group’s history. It is his passion for hospitality, coupled with extensive experience that make Matt and invaluable asset to the RealFood Consulting team.

I am not a fan of oysters.

My other passion is fishing. I truly enjoy it, either from land or sea. I believe that the ocean is a cure-all and could never move away from it.
